MST(Magnetostatic Tech.) is an invention and the original technology of Geode Sound Inc.
- The electrostatic field used in the first-generation ultra-high resolution speaker, the electrostatic (EST) speaker, was converted into a magnetostatic field for the first time in the world using duality*.
- Electrostatic (EST) speakers require expensive amplifiers and high voltages to create an electrostatic field, but Geode Sound's MST speakers only require a permanent magnet to create a static magnetic field, and no additional energy is required.
* Duality: A theory of physics about the nature of pairing used for the reversed formation

5. Technical Comparison with Existing Speakers
- Electro Dynamic Speaker: A typical speaker. The movement of the voice coil is transmitted to the diaphragm.
- Balanced Armature Speaker: Hearing aid speaker. The movement of BA is transmitted to the diaphragm through the needle.
- EST speaker: The diaphragm is located in the center by a static electric field and vibrates by a dynamic electric field.
